What is Mediatation
The word meditation, is derived from two Latin words : meditari (to think, to dwell upon, to exercise the mind) and mederi (to heal). Its Sanskrit derivation 'medha' means wisdom. Meditation means awareness free from any other distraction to the mind through 'a cessation of the thought process' . It describes a state of consciousness, when the mind is free of scattered thoughts and various patterns . Within the clear mind becomes a space to heal, develop clarity and realignment.
What to expect
The meditation group takes place in a safe, calm, quiet and peaceful environment either indoors or outdoors. I play relaxing music and talk you through a guided meditation / visualisation journey. There is time at the end to gently reconnect with your outer world and gather together any thoughts, feelings or emotions.
